Question: How much does it costs to have a website developed?

Answer: Today, there are as many models of websites as there are models of cars, so that depends a lot on the amount of money you want to invest, the overall size of your site, the amount of content that you need, the "look and feel" of the final product, your client or user interaction, if your site needs to be placed high in the search engines, etc. However, a small 5-page, english commercial website can be developed for as little as $ 950 if it isn't too long to develop.

By the same token, a small to medium-size 25 page bilingual website with quality graphics can cost from $ 3,500 to $ 6,500 with some of the features that many companies require today. That said, there are large, sophisticated corporate websites, often encompassing thousands of pages that can easily cost upwards of $ 50,000 to develop. It all depends on the amount of time it takes, and on the number of developers and programmers we need to dedicate the task too. If it only takes a day for one of our programmers to build a 5-page site, obviously that site will cost less than if we need to dedicate two programmers for a whole week, in developing a 20-page site.

Question: How long does it take to develop a small site?

Answer: In a similar fashion as we addressed the above question, here again, it all depends on the exact needs, the time it takes to do it right, the quantity of the content that needs to be placed in the site, etc. etc. There are not two websites that are exactly the same, so the amount of time it takes to build one can vary drastically from another one. One thing is certain: we will give you a fairly accurate estimate of the time it will take for your site to be completed, and when you can expect to see it 'up and running.

Question: Once my site is completed, what happens then? Am I left alone in any of this? Who will make certain that it gets published on the Web?

Answer: Montreal Web Design is a "turnkey Web development" company, meaning that we take care of every step of the Web design process, from start to finish. Once it's ready, we will host your website on any of our powerful servers located in our modern data centers.

We can even take care of the regular updates or content additions or changes that your company will require, as well as the management of its content, if you wish to have it outsourced. We have been developing and maintaining commercial websites since 1995 and we have the tools and the expertise to do it all, if your needs require it. Or, if you prefer, you are totally free to dedicate a person or webmaster in your company or department to take charge of that responsibility. Question: If I have my site built by you, how can you guarantee me it will be visible in the search engines? There is no sense for me to have a website if it can't be found on the Internet.
